2D SHAPES IN THE ENVIRONMENT - DRAW

Sheets designed to inspire children to look around them and find 2D shapes in the environment. Once a ‘real world’ item is found which has a particular shape within it (circle, triangle, square or rectangle), children may be encouraged to make marks on the appropriate sheet to represent it.

Designed to inspire children to investigate the basic 2D shapes everywhere.

Great for giving children a broader understanding of what e.g. a ‘triangle’ is and how the mathematical shape translates to objects around us in the ‘real world’.
