Date of awareness Day: 20th May 2024

World Bee Day

World Bee Day is a day recognised by the United Nations General Assembly. It is an attempt to bring the attention of the public to the importance of preserving bees. “Bees and other pollinators, such as butterflies, bats and hummingbirds, are increasingly under threat from human activities. Pollination is, however, a fundamental process for the survival of our ecosystems.” Read more at www.un.org/en/observances/bee-day.
